Plan Document Services
For most all qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, both ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code require that a plan document and its related Summary Plan Description (SPD) is created and maintained outlining the provisions of the plan. Such provisions must include eligibility criteria for the plan, a listing of entry dates for participation; the contribution mechanisms to the plan; events that would allow distributions under the plan; the actual benefits of the plan in detail; and certain participant appeals and complaint rights.
Kushner & Company assists employers in reviewing their existing plan documents for compliance, and in creating new or amended plan documents for their attorneys to review.
